Great nails at home

Having great nails is something that is very important to a lot of people. I know it certainly is to me. A lot of people think that the only way to have amazing nails is to go have them professionally done. Going to the salon regularly can cost quite a bit of money, and it's not necessary for having great nails. Simple vitamin and nutrient hand soaks at home can help keep your nails beautiful and healthy.

Nail soaks are a great thing to do for your nails before having a manicure. The reason for this is because nails are very absorbent and they will easily soak up vitamins and nutrients in the soak. This will make them stronger, shinier, and healthier.

If you find that your nails are looking a bit rough between polishing and whatever else you do them, here are some things that will help out.

Fruit Soaks
Fruits are great to use for a hand soak because they have so much vitamins in them. Fruits that are high in vitamin C such as peaches, pineapples, and papayas are great to use for this. Fill a glass bowl with some warm water and sugar, then add in a couple of slices of a fruit high in vitamin C. This combination will strengthen your cuticles and moisturize your nails.

Tomato and Rosemary Soak
A soak made from tomato and rosemary can help your nails grow faster. Tomato is high in biotin and lycophene. These help nails grow thick and healthy. Rosemary essential oil will help to moisturize and give your nails a more natural coloring. Adding a couple of drops of honey is also a good idea if you have dry nails.

Once you have great looking nails, I'd recommend gel manicures for keeping nails strong. It's a big misconception that gel manicures cause damage to the nails. This only happens if the polish is not properly removed. With the right application and removal, a gel manicure will actually help your nails stay stronger and healthy. Here is an led nail lamp review for the lamp that I think is the best on the market.
